Job Summary
The OBrien lab has an open position for a postdoctoral researcher to investigate the influence of nerves and nerve-derived signals on kidney development. The lab focuses on understanding how cellular crosstalk and signaling influences developmental processes and how perturbations alter cellular programs. We utilize genetic mouse models for these studies along with molecular and physiological analyses. The applicant will interrogate kidney phenotypes with advanced imaging techniques (confocal and light-sheet microscopy) transcriptomics and other molecular assays.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience with genetic mouse models single cell sequencing confocal and light-sheet microscopy and familiarity with kidney biology
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience with microscopy image analysis and mouse models are preferred
