Job Summary
Application Engineering & Modern Development
Define and drive application engineering strategy aligned to cloud-native API-first and microservices principles
Establish standardized engineering practices (coding standards design patterns secure SDLC)
Drive modularisation and decoupling of legacy systems
Lead platform engineering capability (shared services reusable APIs)
DevSecOps & Automation
Establish and scale DevSecOps practices including CI/CD pipelines
Drive end-to-end automation across SDLC
Implement shift-left testing and security practices
Track KPIs such as deployment frequency lead time MTTR
AI & Intelligent Automation
Drive AI-enabled use cases across application landscape
Embed AI/ML capabilities into business applications
Drive intelligent automation combining RPA AI and workflows
Technical Debt & Lifecycle Management
Maintain technical debt register and remediation roadmap
Allocate capacity for debt reduction
Drive application lifecycle management
Cloud Modernisation
Lead application modernisation to cloud
Define country-level cloud roadmap
Engineering Productivity & Talent
Build high-performing engineering teams
Drive continuous upskilling
Foster engineering culture and innovation
Security by Design
Embed security-by-design principles
Implement zero-trust architecture
Drive secure coding practices

Proven experience in Infrastructure / Technical support Systems Administration Applications support Electronic Banking/Channels Support Programming Database Administration Systems Analysis.
