Test LeadQuality Engineering

• Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 6 years of experience with Information Technology.

• Experience in telecommunication domain.
• Core Testing Skills
  • 68 years of hands-on testing experience including at least 2 years in a Test Lead/Lead QA role.
  • Strong in automation using Java-based frameworks.
  • Proficiency in manual functional testing for distributed microservices.

• Tools & Methodologies

• • CI/CD tools: Jenkins Azure DevOps Git
  • Experience testing event-driven asynchronous systems
  • Experience with JMeter / Gatling for performance testing
  • Good understanding of containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetesoptional bonus)
• Proven experience in testing Java Spring Boot applications
• Familiar with latest trends in industry from technology and domain standpoint
• Experience and good understanding of IT SDLC lifecycle phases. Through understanding Agile principles and practices
• Strong business process/system analytical skills

• Test Leadership & Strategy
  • Define plan and execute endtoend test strategies for microservices and event-driven applications.
  • Lead and mentor a team of automation and manual testers.
  • Establish quality metrics KPIs and reporting dashboards aligned with engineering and product goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement across QA processes tools and frameworks.

• Automation Framework Development

• • Design and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and relevant automation libraries (e.g. JUnit TestNG REST-assured Selenium Karate Cucumber).
  • Build automation suites for API testing event-driven workflows UI regression and performance testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Git Jenkins Azure DevOps).

• Manual & Exploratory Testing

• • Perform functional system integration and endtoend testing of distributed systems.
  • Validate asynchronous communication via Apache Kafka Apache Artemis and messaging/event-driven architectures.
  • Investigate production incidents and contribute to RCA with engineering and SRE teams.

• Service & API Testing

• • Validate REST APIs built on Java Spring Boot and deployed in JBoss WildFly.
  • Ensure high-quality API behavior including data contract validation error handling throttling and performance.

• Database & Data Quality Testing

• • Test applications involving MySQL Amazon RDS and OpenSearch.
  • Validate data modeling indexing strategies schema design and query performance.
  • Ensure consistency and correctness of data pipelines.

• SRE & Observability Collaboration

• • Work closely with SRE teams using Prometheus Grafana Jaeger OpenTelemetry.
  • Validate monitoring dashboards alerts and trace instrumentation as part of release readiness.
  • Participate in reliability testing: chaos testing fault injection resilience validation.

• Interfacing with technical and business stakeholders internal and external
• Configuration customization and integration of application.
• Client interfacing and offshore coordination.
• Available to be on-call and support production issues.
