Data Engineer – Automotive Measurement & Analytics – Fluent in German

The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site visits to the clients location in Győr Hungary depending on project needs.

The Mission

You will play a central high-impact role in building a next-generation data-driven engineering and test-bench environment. Your focus will be the end-to-end lifecycle of automotive measurement datafrom initial capture and processing to the automation of complex analysis scripts that drive vehicle innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Orchestration: Analyze and process complex measurement data streams originating from both test benches and live vehicle testing.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with engineering teams to define and harmonize evaluation criteria and KPIs.

• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automated evaluation scripts (primarily using MATLAB) to increase analysis efficiency.

• Insight Generation: Identify error patterns and optimization potentials within the data to drive system improvements.

• Cross-Functional Support: Act as a subject matter expert supporting internal teams with tool development and advanced data interpretation.

• Reporting: Translate technical data findings into actionable reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications :

• University degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science Automotive Engineering or a related technical field.

• Proven experience in measurement data analysis specifically within the Automotive industry.

• Strong proficiency in MATLAB.

• Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools such as MDA or AVL Concerto.

• Demonstrated ability to automate data analysis workflows.

• Fluent in both German and English (essential for stakeholder coordination).
