ABOUT THE ROLE
At this pivotal moment for Takeda the IBU seeks a QdengaMarket Access & Payer Value Headwhowillleadglobal strategy and execution across value accessandpricingforQdenga. This role will influence launch and lifecycle decisions by embedding payer HTA reimbursement and policy considerations into enterprise decision-making and cross-functional planning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead theglobalQdengavalue accessandpricingstrategy.
- Drive integration of access and value intoprioritization and governance decisions.
- Oversee development ofglobal value propositions dossiers payer tools and HTA readiness plans.
- Provide leadership forhealth economic modelingincluding dynamic transmission models cost-effectivenessandbudget impact.
- Partner with local teams to supportHTA submissions payer engagementandreimbursement strategy.
- Serve as the senior vaccines access and value leader in governance forums elevating payer HTA reimbursement and policy implications in strategic decision-making.
- Engage with executiveleadership in IBU and Global Medical organizations as necessary
- Joinleadershipteam of IBU Market Access group to ensurestrong communicationcollaborationand transparency across teams.
- Monitor global pricing reimbursement and policy trends andadvisesenior leadership on implications for thebrand.
- Represent Takeda externally inappropriate scientific policy and market access forums to strengthen credibility and shape the environment.
- Lead inspire and develop a high-performing globalmarket access team.
- Foster a culture ofinnovation accountability collaboration and talent developmentin a highly matrixed global environment.
- Build organizational capability operating models and ways of working that increase speed quality and strategic impact across the vaccinesbusiness.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degreerequired; advanced degree preferred inhealth economics epidemiology statistics public health business or related field.
- 20 yearsof relevant biopharmaceutical vaccine or healthcare experience.
- 15 yearsin leadership roles acrossglobal market access pricing health economics HEOR or value strategy.
- DeepexpertiseinHTA payer evidence reimbursement pricing strategy and global market access.
- Strong understanding of global healthcare markets
- Prior vaccine experience preferred.
