Job Summary
Required Experience:
Bachelors degree in computer science or other highly technical scientific discipline.
5 years of hands-on Linux system administration experience (Oracle Linux /RHEL/CentOS/)
Strong scripting and programming skills: Bash Python and/or Go
Experience with automation frameworks: Puppet Ansible Foreman and/or Katello
Code repository methodologies utilizing tools such as git.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware) and identity management (Centrify) Windows AD.
Familiarity with database systems: Oracle PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in a 24/7 operations environment with follow-the-sun support model
Track record of leading technical projects and managing infrastructure initiatives from design through implementation
Designing and implementing opportunities discovered from identifying problems performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
