Electrical Engineering Intern

Your Opportunity
As an Electrical Engineering Intern you will support project teams in the planning design and execution of electrical systems across a variety of projects. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to both office and field environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development design and coordination of electrical engineering projects
- Develop feasible design alternatives and evaluate key parameters
- Identify and analyze principal electrical design features and assess potential solutions
- Support the preparation of plans specifications reports schedules and cost estimates
- Produce and revise electrical drawings schematics and layouts in accordance with project standards
- Review and analyze field data notes and calculations
- Research electrical codes standards specifications and materials
- Expand knowledge of electrical equipment systems and industry practices
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
- Gain field experience by observing project sites and construction activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Actively enrolled (sophomore junior or senior) in an Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology program
- Ability to read analyze and interpret technical drawings and complex documents
- Proficiency with computers and technical software
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
