Job Description
As a Security Officer TWIC Screening Driver in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more. Join Allied Universal in a transportation location where you will manage access control monitor entry points and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients visitors and/or staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures credential checks and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points at the location verify identification and/or access permissions and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while following post orders and communication protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location gates checkpoints and perimeter noting security-related concerns and documenting observations according to site procedures.
- Assist with visitor processing vehicle and/or delivery access coordination and log keeping to help support orderly operations at a transportation-related location.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
