Labcorp is seeking a Lead Software Development Engineer to join our team in Durham NC.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design code and enhance enterprise-grade applications using C# .NET and cloud-native technologies (AWS & Azure)

• Develop and maintain AI-powered services including Generative AI integrations and machine learning workflows

• Work closely with the Data Science team to productize AI models and apply software engineering best practices for AI/ML deployments

• Participate in the evolution and adoption of business AI accelerators to scale automation and analytics across the organization

• Lead code reviews enforce design standards and provide mentorship to junior developers

• Collaborate cross-functionally in agile teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Drive innovation by leveraging emerging technologies and pushing the boundaries of healthcare IT

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science

• 10 years of hands-on software development experience in multi-tiered object-oriented systems

Additional Job Standards:

• Advanced proficiency in C#

• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.

• Strong grasp of cloud native implementation using AWS (preferred) or Azure

• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch Hugging Face OpenAI APIs) is a plus
