Sales Team Leader
Birmingham
40000 per annum plus 12000 bonus
As the Sales Team Leader you will oversee and develop a dedicated internal sales team responsible for managing key European accounts. Youll ensure the team delivers outstanding service meets internal KPIs and contributes to profitable sales growth.
You will be the central point of coordination between customers suppliers external account managers and internal departments ensuring smooth project delivery and a consistently high standard of communication.

As the Sales Team Leader you will oversee and develop a dedicated internal sales team responsible for managing key European accounts. Youll ensure the team delivers outstanding service meets internal KPIs and contributes to profitable sales growth.
You will be the central point of coordination between customers suppliers external account managers and internal departments ensuring smooth project delivery and a consistently high standard of communication.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading coaching and motivatinga team of 6 within theEU internal sales team
- Managing workload performance and service levels across the department
- Building strong relationships with key European customers
- Responding to customer enquiries and maximising commercial opportunities
- Promoting the full portfolio of converged IP solutions including new products
- Negotiating pricing and stock availability with suppliers
- Maintaining accurate CRM project data pipelines and forecasts
- Overseeing price changes and ensuring correct administration
- Resolving pre and postsales issues through crossfunctional collaboration
- Driving project reporting and holding regular team meetings
- Attending daily operations meetings and escalating issues where needed
- 3 years experience in the distribution industry
- Proven success in sales meeting individual and team targets
- Experience responding to tenders and large bids
- Strong understanding of purchasing logistics and project processes
- Confidence negotiating with strong commercial awareness
- IT literate with CRM experience (Maddox knowledge beneficial)
- Knowledge of converged IP solutions or related technologies is an advantage
- A European language is desirable
