Procurement Specialist Fixed Term (WMX)
Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION
At Privalia / Veepee we are looking for a Procurement Coordinator / Buyer to support the Southern European countries (mainly Spain and Italy) from June to January 2026.
This role involves a high level of autonomy being responsible for managing suppliers and categories within its perimeter ensuring business continuity and leading end-to-end procurement processes. The person will act as the main point of contact for local stakeholders in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
TASKS
Autonomous management of a spend perimeter across multiple indirect categories (Logistics Facilities Marketing Customer Care Professional Services etc.)
End-to-end management of procurement processes (RFQ / RFP) within the assigned perimeter
Negotiation of costs and contractual conditions with suppliers
Supplier and contract follow-up: monitoring renewals performance and service quality
Purchase order management and follow-up (spend control)
Acting as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders (business finance legal etc.)
Understanding business needs and supporting ongoing projects
Prioritizing and managing multiple projects in parallel in a dynamic environmentIdentifying risks and opportunities within assigned categories
Building business cases and performing financial analysis to support decision-making
Preparation analysis and follow-up of supplier proposal
Presentation of results and management of internal approvals
Tracking KPIs savings and projects
Coordination with the Procurement team at Group level to ensure alignment
MUST HAVE skills
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics or similar
35 years of experience in Procurement or purchasing
Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes
Experience in supplier negotiation
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Fluent English (daily use in an international environment)
High level of autonomy and decision-making
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Hands-on execution-oriented mindset
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Analytical mindset
Proactive and problem-solving attitude
Ability to work in dynamic and less structured environments
NICE TO HAVE skills
- Italian and/or French is a plus
