Job Description
As a Security Officer Reception Driver in Newton NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location you will be the welcoming first point of contact helping to monitor access verify visitors and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors employees and contractors verifying credentials managing access procedures and supporting site-specific security-related policies for a manufacturing location.
- Monitor lobby and entry activity answer phones direct arrivals and document visitor and delivery information in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal procedures.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicating with site contacts supervisors and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Support front desk operations by maintaining accurate logs preparing reports on unusual activity or incidents and helping to deter unauthorized access through attentive observation and professional presence.
- Assist with emergency response activities by providing guidance at the entry point relaying information to appropriate personnel and following post orders for evacuations shelter-in-place events and/or other site needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
