We are seeking an enthusiastic French Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive MFL department in Manchester. The Role
As a French Teacher you will be a key part of a collaborative department that values communication over rote learning. You will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 with the opportunity to teach A-Level French for a candidate with strong subject expertise and a passion for literature and film.
Key Responsibilities:
Interactive Instruction: Planning and delivering lessons that develop fluency in Speaking Listening Reading and Writing.
Cultural Immersion: Incorporating authentic resourcessuch as French cinema music and newsto provide students with a holistic understanding of the French-speaking world.
Exam Success: Guiding GCSE cohorts through AQA or Edexcel specifications focusing on building high-level spontaneous speaking skills and translation accuracy.
Inclusive Learning: Implementing creative strategies to engage all learners including those with EAL and SEND ensuring that language learning is accessible to everyone.

About You
We are looking for a Language Ambassador who can show students that learning French is a passport to the world.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in French or Modern Languages.
Possesses near-native fluency in French and a high standard of written English.
Has a proven track record of helping students achieve or exceed their target grades at GCSE.
Is a passionate resilient educator who can build positive relationships with students quickly.
