Job Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Westminster CO
Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours) 7:15am to 3.15pm
Position Type: 12 weeks contract (School looking for long-term commitment 26/27 SY)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to support the diverse academic behavioral and social-emotional needs of students with disabilities. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction collaborate with colleagues and families and foster an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Load: flexible 10 students currently self-contained classroom
Age Group: Elementary (1st -5th)
Classroom Support: 2 para professionals
Additional Valuable info to potential candidates: Trauma-informed approach to students identified SED and Autism strong behavior management skills are necessary.

Qualifications:

Required:

Valid state teaching license or an endorsement in Special Education.
Trauma-informed approach to students identified SED and Autism strong behavior management skills are necessary.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff students and families.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
