Overview
Seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support injection molding operations for Structural Heart CRM and Neuromodulation product lines. This role focuses on process development optimization and sustaining engineering in a regulated environment.
Must-Have Skills
- RJG Co-Pilot system
- DC2/DC3 setup and processing
- Injection molding process development
- Scientific molding principles
- RJG cavity pressure systems
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and sustaining engineering support within manufacturing operations
- Develop optimize and validate injection molding processes to improve quality yield and efficiency
- Recommend and implement process and equipment modifications
- Lead scientific molding initiatives using RJG systems and cavity pressure data
- Ensure process compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to ensure manufacturability of designs
- Conduct feasibility studies material selection and equipment/tooling validation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using statistical process control (SPC) methodologies
- Support process validation documentation and technical reporting
- Lead or contribute to new technology introduction and process transfer to manufacturing
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Qualifications
- BS in Plastics Engineering or equivalent
- 7 years of relevant experience
