Internal Sizzle
The Epic Beaker AP Project Manager is responsible for leading the implementation of the Anatomic Pathology (AP) Beaker module across the health system. Key responsibilities include:
Project Leadership & Execution: Lead the full lifecycle implementation from planning and kickoff through configuration testing training and go-live.
Cross-Team Coordination & Integration: Organize cross-team collaboration with various teams for updates and ensure connectivity requirements are met.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Engage and align stakeholders from pathology IT laboratory and clinical teams to define requirements and achieve consensus.
Project Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans timelines and resource allocation to ensure smooth project execution.
Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans to address potential obstacles during the implementation process.
Qualifications for the role include:
PMP Certification: Required for project management expertise.
Experience: Strong experience in implementing Epic Beaker AP within a clinical or laboratory environment.
Project Management: Demonstrated success leading complex healthcare or clinical systems projects.
Laboratory Workflows: Practical understanding of anatomic pathology or laboratory workflows.
Regulatory Compliance: Experience working within regulated or compliance-driven healthcare settings.
