Job Summary

Perform welding tasks using approved welding techniques such as MIG TIG ARC and Gas Welding.

Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and work instructions accurately.

Prepare materials and equipment before welding (cutting cleaning positioning and measuring).

Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.

Inspect completed welds to confirm strength accuracy and alignment.

Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

Follow workplace health and safety guidelines at all times.

Report faults defects or safety risks to the supervisor immediately.

Work collaboratively with fabricators technicians and supervisors to complete projects on time.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Certified Welder (recognized welding certification required).

Certificate / Diploma in Welding Fabrication Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 25 years of relevant welding experience.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Knowledge of different welding methods and materials.

Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Good physical fitness and ability to work in a workshop/industrial environment.

Required Skills:

2 years experience in industrial cleaning painting preferably in an industrial setup. Physical Capacity to do strenuous work and work at height and enclosed spaces.

Required Education:

O level
