Job Summary

In this role you will dedicate a significant portion of your time to two key areas: Tariff Classification (according to EU and non-EU schemes) and Export Control Classification.
Your Role:
As an Export Control Sanctions Tariff Classification Specialist you will play a crucial role in ensuring BOSCH Groups compliance with international trade regulations. Your expertise will help us navigate complex export control laws classify goods and software and manage sanctions regimes
Your Impact:
- Perform tariff classification under EU and non-EU schemes.
- Classify physical goods software and technology with a focus on dual-use products in accordance with EU US and other relevant export control regulations.
- Conduct de-minimis calculations for US content.
- Screen business partners against sanctioned-party lists.
- Manage export licenses sanctions and exporter declarations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of the game by keeping up with evolving export control laws and other foreign trade regulations.
Qualifications :
What You Bring:
- Strong understanding and proven experience in export control and tariff classification.
- Proven experience in trade compliance or product engineering ranging from 1-3 years for junior levels to extensive experience for senior and expert positions.
- Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Advanced English proficiency (German is a plus!).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP GTS) is a bonus.
- Great communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
