Job Summary
NPI Financial Governance
Own and govern financial processes for New Product Introduction (NPI) across all Product Groups
Lead NPI ROI evaluation cost modeling and forward cost estimation
Define and maintain hurdle rates and escalation criteria to support disciplined investment decisions
Executive & Decision Support
Provide robust financial analysis and recommendations to senior management and Executive Committee (EC)
Support EC-level reviews business cases and escalation topics related to NPI investments
Ensure financial assumptions are transparent consistent and decision-ready
Process & Tool Leadership
Drive standardization and automation of NPI financial workflows and tools
Partner with IT to translate business requirements into scalable systems (e.g. ROI tools cost estimation tools PPM solutions reporting platforms)
Ensure tools are practical adopted by the organization and continuously improved
Cross-Functional Leadership
Lead cross-functional initiatives involving Finance Product Groups Engineering Procurement and IT
Influence stakeholders without direct authority and build alignment across diverse global teams
Act as a bridge between technical organizations and finance translating complexity into actionable insights
Qualifications :
Experience & Expertise
15 years of experience in Finance Controlling FP&A or related roles
Strong experience in product-based semiconductor businesses manufacturing or technology-driven environments
Hands-on experience with NPI product investment analysis cost modeling or business case evaluation
Proven ability to support senior leadership and executive-level decision making
Core Skills
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Ability to design and improve end-to-end business processes not just analyze results
Experience working with financial systems data platforms and reporting tools
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial topics clearly
Leadership & Mindset
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without formal authority
Comfortable operating in ambiguous evolving environments
Proactive hands-on and capable of driving change
Language
Business-level English required (written and verbal)
Japanese proficiency preferred
Additional Information :
The expected annual pay range for this position is a base range of $150000K - $190000K. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
