Job Summary
We are hiring a skilled Optical Lab Technician with hands-on experience in surfacing finishing and mounting. The ideal candidate thrives in a production-driven environment maintains high accuracy standards and understands the importance of turnaround time and product quality.
What Youll Do:
- Bench/Mounters: Inserting lenses into frames edging beveling tinting and ensuring lenses meet correct power axis and prism standards.
- Inspection: Checking frames and lenses for cosmetic and optical defects using ANSI standards.
- Surface: Using state-of-the-art CNC optical machinery. Handling lens surface processes like taping blocking generating coating and polishing.
- AR Department: Operating state-of-the-art Anti Reflective Coating Machinery sorting and inspecting lenses and ensuring they meet quality standards.
Qualifications :
- No specific educational level required your experience speaks volumes!
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with high volume optical manufacturing is needed.
- Precision and accuracy are paramount in this role.
- This position requires intermittent focused effort coupled with organizational and planning skills.
