HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Responsible for implementing and monitoring the day-to-day operations of the group benefits programs (i.e. group health dental vision disability life insurance flexible spending plan legal plan critical illness and cancer insurance).
- Responsible for coordinating and facilitating the defined benefit plan which can include colleague/retiree meetings pension calculations departmental liaison with Finance and pension plan consultants.
- Assists Director Compensation and Benefits and Chief Human Resources Officer/Vice President Chief HR Officer/VP JC: 005201 with benefits programs to support the mission and strategic goals.
- Provides support to compensation retirement and human resources functions as needed.
Reports To:Director/Compensation and Benefits (JC: 011801).
Supervises:None.
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in human resources business or related field.
- Human Resources (HR) may substitute directly related professional experience for required education on a 1-year:1-year accepted in lieu of the required minimum education above will not be applied to this minimum experience requirement i.e. the same experience will not be counted twice.
Required Experience:
- Three (3) years of job-related experience including general benefits
- Strong expertise in benefits familiarity with regulatory agencies state and federal laws and requirements for all areas of benefits administration and compliance
- Strong employee relations and analytical skills
Required Certification/License/Registry: None.
Preferred Certification/License/Registry:
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) orSeniorProfessionalin HumanResources(SPHR)credentialfrom theHumanResourcesCertificationInstitute(HRCI)and/orCertifiedBenefitsProfessional(CBP) credential from World at Work.
