Job Summary:
TheGSI Read-Across Ramp-Up Leaderis responsible for driving the Read across strategic breakthrough implementation to systematically prevent repetitive issues across HVDC projects and future tenders.
The role works closely with the lessons learned process to ensure that relevant learnings are translated into clear actionable and timely preventive actions.
It ensures that read-across standard work is defined and deployed across the HVDC backlog and future tenders to improve SQDC performance and support project margin improvement.
Key responsibilities:
Process
- Define deploy & sustain the read across framework with associated Standard works & tools to enable an actionable learning from one HVDC project to others.
- Prioritize critical learnings based on business impact and ensure follow-up actions are clear and timely.
- Track the impact of read-across actions on project KPIs risk reduction and margin protection & improvement.
Governance and Stakeholder Engagement
- Animate the read-across governance process with key stakeholders across GSI and HVDC projects.
- Facilitate alignment between project teams functional leaders and leadership on key issues and actions.
- Prepare reporting and dashboards to monitor progress trends and effectiveness of deployed actions.
Change management
- Drive change management and cultural transformation to embed read-across behaviors reinforce standard work and ensure adoption across HVDC projects and future tenders
Interface with Lessons Learned Process
- Interface with the Lessons Learned process & associated key stakeholders as functions Regions HVDC solution Line & quality to turn outputs into actionable preventive measures for current and future projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Significant experience in complex project environment familiar with the tender & execution phases with associated quality cost delivery and customer expectations focus.
- Strong understanding of SQDC performance drivers in project-based organizations.
- Leadership & influence with experience working and leading cross-culturally in large matrixed organizations often without direct authority.
- Ability to effectively go to Genba gather relevant inputs analyze to propose appropriate strategy solution & deployment with problem-solving mindset
- Change management: Ability to drive adoption of new ways of working processes and capability development
Desired Characteristics:
- Masters degree or equivalent knowledge or experience in Engineering Supply Chain project management or another technical field or MBA.
- Experience in training / competencies development
- Good business and financial acumen.
