Dive Into This Exciting Leadership Opportunity!Aquatic Operations Team Leader People&Performance Safety & ComplianceAre you a well-rounded leader who thrives in fast-paced aquatic environments and is passionate about both people and safety This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role at one of Australias most dynamic aquatic venues where community programs and high-performance sportoperateside by role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing people driving team performance and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance across a complex and ever-evolving the RoleAs an Aquatic Operations Team Leader you will play a key role in leading a large and diverse lifeguard and operations people leadership with technicalexpertise ensuring your team is engaged capable and consistently delivering safe and exceptional collaboratively across operationsyoulloversee workforce planning staff development safety systems and compliance standardscontributing to a high-performing well-supported and accountable team ResponsibilitiesLead workforce planning rostering and resource allocation across aquatic operations Drive staff development including training coordination performance support and capability building Support Supervisors and Lifeguards with workflow communication and team leadership Foster a positive high-performing team culture focused on engagement and accountability Oversee aquatic safety compliance and operational procedures in line with GSPO and regulatory standards Manage compliance monitoring auditing reporting and continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate asset management preventative maintenance and technical operations Lead incident investigation documentation and risk management processes Support delivery of programs events and customer experience outcomes Contribute to operational planning projects and continuous improvement across the aquatic space What You Bring to the Pool DeckProven leadership experience within aquatic recreation or similar environments Strong rostering and workforce planning capability Experience in training coordination staff development or competency-based training Solid understanding of aquatic safety compliance frameworks and risk management Experience with audits incident management and regulatory requirements Ability to interpret and apply standards in a practical operational setting Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaininghigh standardsEssential Qualifications:Pool Lifeguard First Aid Working with Children Check (WWCC) Aquatic Technical Operator WhyYoullLove ItYoullbe part of one of the busiest and most diverse aquatic centres in the country where no two days are the same.
