KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The Instructional Coach/ITRT Teacher demonstrates:
- can disaggregate data to inform instructional decisions;
- professional and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with school personnel (adult and student learners) instructional staff division leadership and other members of the Rockingham County Public Schools community;
- an ability to communicate well in verbal and written modes;
- an ability to deliver articulate presentations and appropriate well-designed learning materials;
- a working knowledge of successful integration of technology in classroom instruction through instructional best practice;
- a growth mindset;
- strong time-management skills;
- and motivation to work independently without direction for everyday duties and tasks within the scope of the job expectations and requirements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited college or university and possess an appropriate license and/or endorsement for the position as required by the Commonwealth of Virginia and the School Board. Successful experience in public education as a teacher is required. A Masters degree in Education is preferred.
