Were looking for a Business Senior Analyst to join our Canada Operations Line 1B Risk and this role you are expected to support fraud detection and prevention by analyzing transactional and behavioral data managing records and information workflows collaborating with crossfunctional stakeholders and delivering clear risk insights and recommendations to strengthen controls and support effective decisionmaking.
Position Responsibilities:
- Analyze transactional anomalies and behavioral patterns to detect potential fraud and emerging risk indicators.
- Escalate suspicious activities collaborate with business partners and help identify root causes of fraud events.
- Support the enhancement of fraud monitoring controls by providing insights and prevention recommendations.
- Execute records and information management activities with strong quality and productivity including endtoend Iron Mountain workflows.
- Perform detailed casebycase reviews to proactively identify and prevent financial or processing errors.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations ORM Legal Compliance and IT and present fraud insights to senior leaders.
- Demonstrate strong risk assessment data interpretation critical thinking adaptability and proactive problemsolving skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance or a related discipline; an industry certification in Operational Risk or equivalent experience is an asset.
- 35 years of relevant experience with strong understanding of business processes risks and controls or exposure to operational functions and projects utilizing operational risk management methodologies.
- Knowledge of Insurance Group Benefits Affinity and/or Contact Centre operations is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Archer for record creation maintenance and reporting is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fastpaced multistakeholder environment and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the capability to identify patterns and insights within large datasetsparticularly as they relate to fraud risk or operational anomalies.
