Job Summary
Position Description:
. Preferred Location: Bangalore/Chennai
. Skills: JD for MSSQL requirement. . Strong administration experience in Microsoft SQL Server (On-Prem Azure SQL Database Azure SQL Managed Instance). . Design and manage High Availability & DR solutions (AlwaysOn AG FCI Log Shipping Geo-replication). . Monitor and optimize performance (I/O latency wait stats TempDB blocking indexing query tuning). . Manage backup restore and DR testing aligned to RPO/RTO requirements. . Hands-on experience with Azure PaaS networking (VNet Private Endpoints) and Azure monitoring tools. . Implement database security (RBAC TDE Always Encrypted Auditing Entra ID integration). . Develop automation using PowerShell T-SQL SQL Agent and Azure Automation. . Perform capacity planning storage optimization and support cost governance initiatives. . Handle P1/P2 incidents conduct RCA and provide production stabilization support. . Support database migrations upgrades assessments and modernization initiatives
