Job Summary
Overview
The Cloud Administrator will be responsible for managing monitoring and optimizing on prem and cloud-based infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in cloud services security and automation with an emphasis on maintaining high levels of system availability performance and security across multiple cloud platforms. As a Cloud Administrator you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions into our business processes maintain cost-effective solutions and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure to support our growing needs.
Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Configure monitor and maintain the companys cloud environments (e.g. Azure AWS SaaS GCC) to ensure optimal performance and scalability
Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security and compliance by monitoring access usage and resources
System Backups and Recovery: Perform system backups and recovery to maintain data integrity and availability
Technical Support: Provide technical support for cloud applications and services and train end users as needed
Collaboration: Work closely with IT security teams to monitor the companys cloud privacy and respond to technical issues in a timely and efficient manner
Qualifications
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Ability to embrace change learn quickly and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment
Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives. Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically both verbally and in writing with co-workers and with outside agencies partners shareholders and business associates Strong understanding of relevant software tools and systems used in the corporate environment. This includes proficiency in standard software applications including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel)
Preferred Education/Skills:
Bachelors of Science in Information Technology or equivalent years of experience
Certified in AZ-500 MS-500 MS-700 AZ-104 or SC-400 or equivalent certification.
Minimum of five years in Information Technology
Proven experience in cloud administration with expertise in Azure and other SaaS applications
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Six or more years of experience in support of Azure Cloud
Certified as an Azure Administrator Associate MS-102 Administrator Expert or equivalent certifications
Relevant certifications such as ITIL CISM or equivalent certifications
Experience and adherence to compliance frameworks: (CMMC Level 2 GovHigh 32CFR CUI FedRAMP NIST-800 PCI-DSS and internal security best practices
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
