We are a not-for-profit senior living community dedicated to serving with compassion and excellence. Were seeking an energetic and caring Resident Care Assistant (non-certified) to become part of our Christian Care Family. In this role youll make a meaningful difference every day by supporting our independent residents. Were looking for a professional dependable individual who is passionate about enriching lives committed to meeting daily needs and devoted to preserving dignity and quality of life.
As a Resident Care Assistant you will provide a wide range of support services to help our residents maintain independence and enjoy a vibrant lifestyle. Your care and attention will ensure they feel respected valued and truly at home.
Responsibilities
- Ability to communicate with and relate well to an elderly population.
- Ability to provide quality assistance and care for an elderly population.
- Ability to operate and use housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret written procedures and directions.
- Perform medication reminders.
- Conduct welfare checks as needed on residents.
- Able to provide physical assistance as needed to residents.
- Provide laundry and bedding assistance services.
- Perform meal preparations light housekeeping and dog walking services.
- Ability to use the computer to obtain continuing education credits.
- Report verbally and in writing on individual clients abilities and potential changes to the service needs.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
- Prior caregiving experience a plus.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- May be required to work weekends and or holidays.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Hard worker.
- Team player.

Schedule: Weekdays and weekends required. Holiday coverage as needed.
