The First Grade Long-Term Substitute Teacher is responsible for delivering a developmentally appropriate standards-based educational program that supports the academic social and emotional growth of all students.
The long-term substitute will ensure the safety supervision and well-being of students while maintaining a positive and structured classroom environment. Responsibilities include designing and implementing lesson plans aligned with the Windham School District curriculum standards delivering high-quality engaging instruction and utilizing student assessment data to inform and adjust instructional practices.
The long-term substitute will collaborate closely with grade-level team members special educators specialists and administration to support student success. The position also requires establishing and maintaining strong partnerships with students families and staff to reinforce progress promote consistent communication and foster a supportive learning community.
Qualifications:
- Valid NH DOE teaching certification or ability to be certified required.
