Private Family in Bryn Mawr PA Seeking a Full-Time Live-In Housekeeper
Position Details:
A private family based in Bryn Mawr PA is seeking a highly experienced full-time live-in housekeeper to manage the daily upkeep of their large home. The schedule is typically 9:00 AM 3:00 PM with a break followed by an evening return to assist with post-dinner cleanup. The role offers flexibility as the familys three boys (ages 10 15 and 18) have varying schedules due to school and sports. Candidates may choose to work either 5 or 6 days per week depending on preference.
Family Overview:
The household includes a busy mother and her three active sons. The family maintains a full home with seven bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms plus additional powder rooms. While the family occasionally hires babysitters they are seeking someone who enjoys being around children and can step in when needed.
Responsibilities:
- Full-charge housekeeping of a 7-bedroom home including deep cleaning and daily upkeep
- Laundry ironing and wardrobe organization
- Maintaining overall household organization and cleanliness to a high standard
- Paying close attention to detail (e.g. window sills less obvious areas)
- Kitchen cleanup including post-dinner tidying
- Occasional light childcare or supervision as needed
- Optional light cooking or meal prep (a plus but not required)
- Proactively identifying tasks and maintaining the home without constant direction

Requirements:
- Prior experience working in a private home in a similar role

- Ability to manage a flexible schedule including split shifts

Compensation & Schedule:
- Salary: $1200$1500 per week (depending on experience and schedule)
- Option to work 5 or 6 days per week (6 days offers higher compensation)
- Live-in accommodations provided
