Job Summary

Role Overview

Our Client is hiring Senior Specialized IT Consultants (Lead Data Engineers) to support critical Registry systems (PCR & PPR) within Ontarios Electronic Health Record ecosystem.

You will work across multiple workstreams focusing on application support development and optimization of data services.

Key Responsibilities

Provide application support issue analysis and remediation
Design develop and optimize Java-based services
Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices
Support AWS-based cloud initiatives and deployments
Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
Conduct unit testing code reviews and ensure code quality
Collaborate with teams across multiple workstreams
Document solutions and support knowledge transfer

Must-Have Skills

4 5 years Java development (JSP Servlets Spring Struts)
3 4 years application support experience
Strong experience with REST/SOAP web services
Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
Strong SQL and database experience
Understanding of SDLC and QA processes

Technical Environment

AWS (Cloud Networking Admin)

Nice to Have

IBM InfoSphere MDM (Identity Hub / Initiate)
