Role: CMM Programmer
Location: Midland Georgia (Onsite)

Job Description
Job Description:
- Develop edit and validate CMM programs using Calypso for Zeiss measurement systems
- Perform dimensional inspection of aerospace engine components such as blades vanes disks seals and cases
- Interpret engineering drawings 3D CAD models GD&T and OEM specifications
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) as per AS9102 standards
- Generate accurate inspection and measurement reports for internal and customer use
- Work with quality manufacturing and machining teams to resolve dimensional issues
- Validate CMM programs through testing correlation and repeatability checks
- Maintain calibration and performance of Zeiss CMM equipment
- Manage revision control for programs and inspection documentation
- Support root cause analysis corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Apply best practices for measuring complex geometries and high-temperature materials (Inconel Titanium Waspaloy)
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Manufacturing Materials Metallurgical or related)
- 2 5 years of experience in CMM programming or metrology
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or precision machining environments
- Strong analytical documentation and communication skills
- US Citizen required
- This is a hardcore metrology aerospace inspection role
- Ideal candidates come from:
- Aerospace engine manufacturers (GE Pratt & Whitney Rolls-Royce)
- Precision machining shops supporting aerospace
- Must-have combo:
Calypso Zeiss CMM GD&T Aerospace inspection - Reject profiles with:
- Only automotive inspection (unless aerospace-level tolerances)
- No hands-on CMM programming (operator-only profiles)
