Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Staffing - ***Pipline Building*** (Days & Nights)

Job Summary: We are seeking motivated and flexible Registered Nurses to join our staffing team. The RN will provide safe patient-centered care across units as needed support float pool assignments and assist with patient triage assessments and care coordination. This role requires strong clinical judgment excellent communication and the ability to adapt to varying patient populations and care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders clinical guidelines and facility policies.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments document findings and monitor vital signs symptoms and changes in condition.
  • Develop implement and evaluate individualized care plans; revise plans as needed in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments monitor for adverse reactions and ensure proper medication reconciliation.
  • Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams; facilitate admissions transfers and discharges.
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort; implement fall prevention infection control and pain management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR); ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA/PHI regulations.
  • Provide patient and family education support and discharge planning.
  • Assist with triage and prioritization in high-demand or variable staffing situations.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives charge nurse duties and unit handoffs as assigned.
  • Adhere to professional standards hospital policies and regulatory requirements (e.g. JCAHO state board of nursing).

Qualifications:

  • Current registered nursing license (RN) in the applicable state or country.
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ASN BSN or equivalent).
  • CPR/BLS certification; additional certifications as required by department (e.g. ACLS PALS NRP IV Therapy Phlebotomy).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (varies by facility; e.g. 1 2 years).
  • Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; teamwork and collaboration orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities stay organized and work nights weekends or holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills.
  • Physical ability to perform duties (lifting standing walking mobility assistance) per job demands; reasonable accommodations as required by law.

Preferred Qualifications (optional):

  • BSN or higher degree.
  • Specialty certifications relevant to unit needs (e.g. OR ICU ED Med-Surg).
  • Experience in staffing/floater roles or travel nursing.
  • Demonstrated outcomes in patient satisfaction safety metrics or quality indicators.

Work Environment:

  • Various settings including Med-Surg ICU ER telemetry or specialty units depending on staffing needs.
  • Fast-paced dynamic environment with exposure to emergencies and challenging cases.
  • Shift options: days evenings nights weekends; possible 8- 10- or 12-hour shifts.
  • On-call or cross-cover requirements may apply.
