Well establish plant hire company with UK coverage are seeking an experienced Plant Fitter with diesel generator experience to join their team in Bury St Edmunds
The Role:
As a Mobile Plant Fitter youll be responsible for the service maintain and repair our clients generators on site and at their home depot. This is a varied role with real autonomyno two days are the same.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine servicing and inspections on plant equipment
- Diagnose Service and repair Diesel products on site or at home depot.
- Attend breakdowns in a timely and professional manner
- Complete job sheets and reports accurately
- Liaise with the service team to ensure jobs are completed efficiently
About You:
- Proven experience as a diesel plant fitter service engineer or similar
- Strong knowledge of generators desirable but will consider similar experience for the right candidate
- NVQ Level 2/3 in a diesel generator level degree or equivalent (desirable but will definitely consider time served Plant Fitters/Engineers 2-3 years)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Self-motivated reliable and customer-focused
