Job Summary

Job Description

As a Business Information Analyst you act as a bridge between the business world and the BI world.
You understand and analyze the business needs in terms of insights and BI.
You make the translation to the BI technical side and can translate the needs into a briefing for data engineers.
Then you get to work in Power BI yourself to create the semantic models and more complex reports/dashboards.
In addition to the development of the new BI environment in Power BI we are working on a migration of reporting needs from the existing SAP BI environment to Power BI.

Description:

You will strengthen the team responsible for data modeling and Power BI reports to support the business
You make functional analysis of the source data for Data Engineers in preparation for the BI needs
You build your own dimensional data models so that the Data and Reporting Analysts (DRA) can build high-performance dashboards on them
You provide the complex reports and dashboards for the business and support the DRA in developing/maintaining dashboards.
You are jointly responsible for ensuring that the right insights are provided in the BI layer
You maintain the existing datasets in Power BI and support the Data and Reporting Analysts who use the universes as a source for visualizations/reports
Profile requirements:
Strong analytical mindset
Experience Power BI (modeling DAX visualization)
Experience with data modelling data warehouse reporting data visualisation...
Knowledge of SQL
Able to quickly absorb business knowledge
Pros
