Job Summary
Weâre seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial flooring projects from start to finish. - Use industry-specific software to perform accurate takeoffs and estimates.
- Prepare and manage submittals shop drawings and required documentation for project approvals.
- Develop project schedules in coordination with clients and internal teams to meet critical milestones.
- Track and manage revisions (e.g. Bulletins RFIs field changes) and maintain project documentation.
- Procure materials and plan logistics in line with project timelines.
- Establish labor budgets and create work orders within approved estimates.
- Prepare and submit monthly project billing and progress payment applications.
- Coordinate installation teams based on project complexity skill requirements and availability.
- Generate shop drawings and detailed work orders for field teams execution.
- Ensure timely and efficient material delivery through coordination with the logistics department.
- Represent Axis onsiteâoversee labor productivity jobsite professionalism and quality control.
- Ensure jobsite safety protocols and installation standards are upheld.
- Attend client & Job meetings and provide solutions to project-related challenges.
âProficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook).
âFamiliarity with other software Callidus Salesforce Sage.
âAbility to read and interpret commercial blueprints and construction documents.
âStrong written and verbal communication skills; polished and professional demeanor.
âHighly organized with keen attention to detail.
âAdaptable and resourcefulâable to prioritize tasks and solve problems independently.
âTeam-oriented and collaborative mindset.
âSelf-starter with strong follow-through.
ïâProven experience in project management or a related role.
âStable employment history with strong professional references.
âFamiliarity with commercial flooring or interior construction materials is a plus (not required).
