Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated NMS Developer (Zabbix) to join our Technology & Information Team. The role involves developing configuring and maintaining network monitoring systems to ensure optimal network performance and reliability. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in Zabbix and a solid understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience with Zabbix (experience with Nagios or ICINGA will be an advantage).
Solid understanding of network protocols and infrastructure.
Proficiency in Linux system administration (highly preferred).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing network issues.
Working knowledge of database technologies and querying.
Excellent documentation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop configure and manage Zabbix and other network monitoring systems.
Monitor and analyze network performance ensuring timely detection and resolution of issues.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network monitoring systems and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system visibility and performance.
Utilize database technologies and queries for network data reporting and analysis.
Support and optimize network protocols and infrastructure (TCP/IP HTTP etc.).

Education:

BS in Computer Science Information Security Information Technology or a related field.
