Job Summary
Job Title: Pediatric Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer
Location: Flushing New York
Schedule: Monday Friday Day Shift (9:00 AM 5:00 PM)
Duration: 9 Weeks
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Pediatric Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer for a short-term assignment in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in pediatric echocardiography and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms for diagnostic purposes
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues or escalate as needed
- Monitor patient condition and communicate concerns to clinical staff
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and healthcare teams
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited Echocardiography Training Program
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech
- Pediatric echocardiography experience required (mandatory)
- Certification required: CCI or ARDMS (Echo)
- Strong knowledge of echo procedures equipment and protocols
- Basic documentation and clerical skills
