Salary:45000 - 52000 (DOE) Bonus Benefits
Are you passionate about driving innovation and quality in raw materials Join us as aRaw Materials Scientistand play a critical role in shaping the future of our Dry and Care & Treats factories. You will lead the development and enhancement of our raw material portfolio ensuring every ingredient meets the highest standards of quality nutrition and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and Elevate:Take full ownership of a portfolio of raw materials applying your deep technical knowledge to guarantee consistent quality and optimal performance across our manufacturing sites.
- Drive Specifications:Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and refine raw material specifications that not only comply with Mars rigorous standards but also meet our nutritional and processing needs.
- Lead Innovation:Spearhead complex projects including new raw material development renovation initiatives and cost-saving strategies. Manage stakeholders and collaborate across functions to deliver impactful results.
- Build Expertise:Become a subject matter expert in raw materials sharing your insights and knowledge to elevate the entire teams capabilities and drive continuous improvement.
About you
- A graduate with a degree in a scientific discipline such as Food Science Chemistry Biology or a related field.
- Experienced in research and development ideally with a focus on raw material development quality assurance or food safety.
- A confident communicator with excellent English skills both written and verbal.
- A natural collaborator who excels at building strong relationships and working effectively across teams.
