Job Description
The Epicor Technical Specialist is responsible for providing frontline technical support while developing specialized expertise in the companys ERP system Epicor. This role will begin as general IT support with emphasis on ERP helpdesk ensuring timely resolution of user issues and maintaining high service levels across the organization. As skills and understanding progress the position will transition into a primary Epicor support role while continuing to serve as a backup resource for general IT support.

Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Helpdesk & General IT Support
Provide day-to-day technical support to end users (hardware software ERP network and account issues)
Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely and professional manner
Install and configure software and hardware
Assist with user onboarding/offboarding including account setup and permissions
Document issues resolutions and processes within the ticketing system
Escalate complex issues to appropriate team members when necessary
Undertake any other related tasks as requested by manager or supervisor

Phase 2: Epicor System Support
Troubleshoot complex Epicor issues across modules to identify root causes.
Provide functional end user support for Epicor including dashboards BAQs BPMs.
Work with internal stakeholders to understand business processes and system needs
Provide training on Epicor to end users
Assist in testing upgrades and implementations
Create and maintain documentation for Epicor processes workflows and support procedures
Collaborate with vendors and developers on issue resolution and enhancements

Ongoing / Hybrid Responsibilities
Serve as a backup resource for helpdesk support as needed
Identify opportunities to improve system performance and user experience
Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain a high level of customer service and communication with end users

Qualifications Required
13 years experience in IT support or helpdesk environment
3 years Epicor ERP experience
Expert Microsoft Excel skills
Familiarity with Windows OS Microsoft 365 and common business applications
Understanding of business processes (finance operations inventory etc.)
Manufacturing environment experience is preferred
Experience with ticketing systems and documentation practices
SQL C# or Crystal Reports reporting experience a plus

Salary is based on experience. Hours of employment are 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday with flexibility to work after hours as needed. Workplace is on site at our New Oxford PA facility.
