Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Driving Role in Greenville SC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an armed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents support access activity and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients visitors and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a dynamic aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings restricted areas and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points verify credentials and authorizations and help to deter unauthorized entry while following post orders and applicable use of force guidelines.
- Support site operations by preparing accurate reports maintaining awareness of sensitive areas and materials and reporting hazards maintenance issues and/or suspicious activity through proper channels.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related law enforcement and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
