Job Summary
Lead the RenovationsPlus Operations team overseeing managers supervisors and support associates across various functions. Maximize RenovationsPlus Operations results by optimizing departmental efficiency and effectiveness while collaborating with field and installations teams to address business and sales-related challenges to drive best practices and revenue growth.
Major Tasks Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Oversees associate performance providing recognition training coaching counseling and implementing corrective action as necessary
- Contributes to strategic system and program development executing short- and long-term strategies aligned with operating budget and forecasts to support sales and service level initiatives while also proposing operational changes to enhance efficiency.
- Establishes and implements best practices and benchmarking develops operational standards and ensures compliance among managers supervisors and front-line associates.
- Reviews and interprets financial and operating information to drive business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborates with internal partners to resolve complex issues concerning customer service product availability pricing warranties and product delivery.
- Partners with customers sales associates and leaders on intricate quotes negotiates special pricing and terms with vendors and arranges drop-ships as needed to secure bids.
Nature and Scope
- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods business principles and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
- Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
Work Environment
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Education and Experience
- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7 years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
