Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient-centered care in a dynamic clinical environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
- Plan implement and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
- Monitor and manage patient care throughout labor and delivery
- Document care in accordance with clinical standards and patient acuity
- Advocate for evidence-based practices and quality improvement
- Provide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) (required)
- BLS (AHA) certification (required)
- NRP (AHA) certification (required)
- Active Registered Nurse license (state or compact)
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- ACLS certification
- AWHONN Advanced or EFM certification
- Epic EMR experience
