Position Summary
The Concessions Bartender is responsible for delivering fast friendly and high-quality beverage service to guests during the Valero Texas Open. This role operates in a high-volume outdoor event environment and plays a key part in enhancing the overall guest experience while ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws and event standards.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $9.00 and is tip eligible.
This is a seasonal role from March 27 2026 and will end on July 27 2026.
This position will remain open until June 26 2026.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company and event standards.
- Verify guest age and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with state laws.
- Operate POS systems handle cash/credit transactions and maintain accurate cash control.
- Set up maintain and break down concession bar areas before during and after events.
- Keep workstations clean organized and fully stocked at all times.
- Monitor guest consumption and address issues professionally and safely.
- Follow all health safety and sanitation guidelines including outdoor/heat safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
- Collaborate with concessions culinary and operations teams to ensure smooth service.
- Adhere to event policies uniform standards and service expectations.
Qualifications
- Must meet minimum legal age requirements to serve alcohol.
- Previous bartending concessions or event experience preferred.
- Knowledge of beer wine cocktails and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
- Flexible schedule including weekends early mornings and multi-day events.
- TABC or alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain).
