Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care in a hospital setting. The therapist will deliver treatment diagnostic evaluation and patient education for individuals with cardiopulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments under medical direction
- Assist with intubation procedures and manage ventilator setup and monitoring
- Provide care for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies
- Evaluate patient needs through assessment testing and collaboration with healthcare teams
- Deliver patient and caregiver education in an understandable manner
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Key Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Active New Jersey Respiratory Care License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- BLS (AHA) ACLS and PALS certifications
