Step into a newly created leadership role and drive the future of community banking. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Branch Manager (internally known as the Lending Hub Manager) to lead the lending team across the Community Bank Surrey Hills Canterbury Ashburton and Balwyn branches.
Based out of our Canterbury Lending Hub you will champion community engagement and fuel lending growth across Melbournes inner east.

You will utilise your proven lending skills not only to lead a high performing lending team but also train and coach our up-and-coming lenders a team currently consisting of 6.
Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:
- Lending Knowledge: A deep understanding of lending practices and regulations to guide the team effectively.
- Leadership Skills: Being a motivator influencer and role model for the lending team promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Coaching Skills: Ability to train and develop new and existing lenders helping them achieve their goals and improve their performance.
- Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication is essential for building strong relationships with customers and team members alike.
- Business Development: A talent for identifying opportunities to expand customer relationships and drive lending growth.
In this dynamic and high-impact role youll make your mark by:
- Coaching and developing competencies in your team across multiple locations. With a focus on continuous improvement youll proactively work with your team to help them achieve their performance and career development goals
- Prioritising business performance through tracking KPIs reporting creating strategic plans plus collaborating and sharing knowledge with others in your wider team
- Working closely with the Community Bank executive to build and nurture community relationships being the face of our brand actively participating in events and establishing yourself as the go to person for banking in our region
- Leading by example. Youll prioritise the customer experience and arent afraid to step in wherever the branches need you
- Embracing an attitude of lifelong learning. Bring your brilliant mind and well help you take your career to the next level with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities

This is a permanent full-time positionThe roster is 76 hours per fortnight.
