Responsibilities
The Remittance Processor is accountable for processing and reconciling payments and allowances from patient and third party payers to expedite crediting patient and general ledger accounts in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Associates Degree preferred
Experience
2 years of clerical healthcare cash handling remit posting cash reconciliations and/or banking experience required
Experience within a medical billing environment preferred
