DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Scientist I Formulation where youll make meaningful contributions to products that help make the world healthier cleaner and this role youll perform formulation and manufacturing activities in a GMP/ISO-regulated environment working with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. Youll execute manufacturing protocols troubleshoot processes maintain detailed documentation and collaborate across functions to ensure high-quality output. This position offers opportunities to drive continuous improvement while working in a team-oriented setting focused on safety quality and operational excellence.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree required with no prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing formulation development or related laboratory work
Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry Biochemistry Biology Pharmaceutical Sciences Engineering or related scientific field
Demonstrated expertise in aseptic techniques and GMP manufacturing practices
Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment analytical methods and instrumentation
Proficient in documentation practices and batch record completion
Experience with quality systems and regulatory compliance (GMP ISO)
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and laboratory software systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work while wearing required PPE
Ability to work flexible hours including possible shift work
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocols
Knowledge of data analysis and basic statistical methods
Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing priorities
