Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Assurance in Delray Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an Access Control Officer where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and help to support a welcoming professional environment. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures property policies and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations and help to deter unauthorized access in a calm professional manner.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations with sound judgment clear communication and a problem-solving approach.
- Document visitor activity access-related incidents and unusual conditions in required reports and communicate relevant details to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated lobbies common areas entrances and perimeter locations to identify security-related concerns and report observed issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a guard card.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
