Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Ashland City TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support daily operations with strong communication and customer this role you will help to deter security-related incidents while staying visible and responsive. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or credentials process visitor and contractor access and maintain required logs and reports related to security-related activities.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through proper channels and documenting events as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including controlled access areas production-adjacent spaces and perimeter points as permitted by site procedures.
- Help to deter unauthorized access policy violations and/or suspicious activity by maintaining an attentive presence and communicating professionally with site personnel and guests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
